Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Provide direction and leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator.

Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates.

Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.

Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.

Must have active Arizona license with DEA, BLS and/or ACLS.  Training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Compensation: $225,000 - $325,000/yr.

About the Facility:

Central Arizona - Florence Correctional Center is located in Florence, AZ.  The facility  houses male and female US Marshall , ICE and Bureau of Prison and city of Mesa residents. Our clinics are 24-hour day clinics with dental staff, medical staff and mental health staff with Provider day coverage.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (PRN) - Otay Mesa Detention Center

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant under the supervision of the Physician, provides advanced nursing services and patient care in the facility's medical program.

Provides comprehensive care to include, but not limited to, executing physician's orders, dispensing and administering medications and performing examinations and treatment of patients; performs a variety of procedures and treatments.

Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.

Records physical findings, formulates prognosis based on patient's condition and discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.

Recommends drugs and other forms of treatment within the scope of licensure.

Accepts on-call status.

Compensation: $65.00 - $80.00/hr.

Must have active California license, DEA and BLS. Must pass federal clearance.

About the Facility:

Otay Mesa Detention Center is located approximately 25 miles from the city of San Diego, CA. 

The facility houses approximately 2050 male and female ICE and US Marshall inmates.  It is staffed with 24 hour nursing staff with medical, dental and mental health staff.

The Dentist is responsible for professional dental care for inmates.

Performs routine dental treatment including examining teeth and gums for cavities, infections and diseases; takes necessary x-rays; performs fillings and extractions as warranted.

Diagnoses and develops treatment plans for inmates.

Develops, coordinates and supervises the facility dental program to include advising and instructing inmates in the cause and prevention of dental disease.

Must have an active Ohio license with DEA and BLS

Compensation: $200,000 - $225000/yr.

Provide a variety of professional medical services to inmates to include administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care.

Make clinic rounds

Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.

Accept on-call status.

Must have active Mississippi license with DEA,  and BLS.  Training  in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred.

Adams County Correctional Facility is located in Natchez, MS.  It houses approximately 1700 male ICE inmates.  The facility has a full clinic with medical, dental and mental health staff.

Natchez, MS is located on the Mississippi River approximately 85 miles north of Baton Rouge, LA and 90 miles southwest of Jackson, MS.  Natchez has a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that include golfing, hunting, fishing, kayaking, casinos, museums and art galleries.
