Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Provide direction and leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator.
Provide a variety of professional medical services to inmates to include administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care.
Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates.
Make clinic rounds
Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.
Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.
Accept on-call status.
Must have active Mississippi license with DEA, and BLS. Training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred.

Compensation: $225,000 - $325,000/yr.

Adams County Correctional Facility is located in Natchez, MS. It houses approximately 1700 male ICE inmates. The facility has a full clinic with medical, dental and mental health staff.
