Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Provide direction and  leadership for the medical program in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator.

Provide a variety of professional medical services to inmates to include administering examinations, diagnosing medical and other problems, prescribing medications and providing treatment and follow-up care.

Monitor and review operations and standards of care delivered to inmates.

Make clinic rounds

Participate in treatment team meetings where individual health plans of inmates are devised, reviewed and altered.

Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.

Accept on-call status.

Must have active Ohio license, DEA and BLS.

 Salary: $225,000 - $325,000/yr

About the Facility:

Northeast Ohio Correctional Center is located on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border in Youngstown, OH. 

The facility houses Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction male inmates and has a 24-hour clinic with a mental health department, medical department and dental department.
