Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Typical duties include managing the operation and providing overall direction and leadership to the provision of mental health services to the facility. The Psychiatrist has the primary responsibility of providing administrative and clinical coordination for the comprehensive mental health program for the patients. Provides medication management for patients. Provides oversight for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Must have an active California license with DEA and BLS. Must be able to pass federal clearance.
Compensation: $275,000 - $350,000/yr

About the Facility:
Otay Mesa Detention Center is located approximately 25 miles from the city of San Diego, CA.
The facility houses approximately 2050 male and female ICE and US Marshall inmates. It is staffed with 24-hour nursing staff with medical, dental and mental health staff.
